A NOTE FROM JOHN

Hi RP Family -

You and I are living post-Resurrection Sunday! Has Jesus’s resurrection affected you post-Easter Celebration? I hope it has. The level of affect it can have on you is limitless, and all the hope we have in our Savior can be found in the reality that he has conquered the grave. If Jesus can defeat the biggest evil, what more can he defeat? We are a people that can live with joy, no matter what life throws at us.

But, no doubt sometimes life throws us into a mega-storm. And, with all the tossing and turning that comes with the fierce wind and raging waves, sometimes what we know to be true about our Savior - who is much more powerful than the wuthering heights of a white squall - can escape our minds. Jesus’s disciples got caught up in a storm like this, and Jesus was right there with them, which we’ll look at this weekend as we continue our Gospel of Luke sermon series in chapter 8.

God has a way of caring for his people, and as God's people we want to continue show others what God's care looks like. And, if you didn’t catch the word last weekend, this Sunday is ‘name-tag Sunday’! With so many new faces at RP, we want to make sure we are getting to know each other. So let’s be a welcoming people that care deeply about those around us - and we’ll have name tags and sharpies when you walk into Sullivan! And, be sure to invite newcomers to the Newcomers Lunch right after service!

Our Savior has risen from the grave, and he also has the most caring heart for you today!

Be sure to scroll down and find out RP happenings - including Building Blocks of Peace happening tomorrow, headed by our very own Doc Fuder!

Warmly,
John, Associate Pastor RP

Giving at Park-RP

We believe that giving is an act of worship. It recognizes God as the owner and source of all we have. It is our cheerful response to God in praise of His radical generosity towards us.

Neighborhood Partners

Collaboration allows us to leverage our strengths, compensate for our weaknesses, and reach areas and demographics of our city that might otherwise remain untouched.
